MRBP - Multi Role Battle Panel
The Multi Role Battle Panel was developed in collaboration with OPERATIVE FÄGIKEN.
The idea for the entire final result in 2019 was developed during a mission in Africa.
A simple solution was needed, which arose from the constant getting on and off of the bike, to develop a backpack that has no straps that run under the shoulder and can get caught on the equipment.
The foundation stone had been laid.
This resulted, after many years and numerous prototypes that were tested and evaluated by comrades, including tests in real exercises and operational environments, in the MRBP.
It is intended to be the basis for all available back panels.
A new way to independently access equipment on your back without the help of a colleague or comrade.
No more getting stuck or wriggling out of your backpack.
After some practice, putting the helmet on and taking it off becomes intuitive.
With the patented FIDLOCK® magnetic closure system, we are taking a step in a new direction.
We hope that this will resonate with many people who think the same way we do.
The locking system
FIDLOCK® SNAPS are sewn onto a Cordura laminate plate on the back of the plate carrier and held in place by Molle.
The counterpart on the MRBP is the FIDLOCK® SNAP PULLS .
On the front of the plate carrier, a so-called "hunter's fence" is used,
the FIDLOCK® V BUCKLES are attached.
This creates a load distribution between the back and front of the plate carrier.
The triggering system
A specially developed triggering mechanism is the heart of the MRBP.
A Bowden cable system and an angled arrangement of the FIDLOCK® SNAP PULLS on the inside of the panel allow the operator to release the MRBP and access his equipment located on his back.
Inside the FIDLOCK® SNAP PULLS, a stainless steel spring works to retract the latch.
The trigger system is designed so that, should it become damaged, it can be completely replaced.
The MRBP can also be worn as an emergency backpack.
